Why Pocket Keyworker Exists
For years, I've worked with children and young people across education, social care, supported accommodation and consultancy. And throughout that time, I kept seeing the same challenge.
Support workers genuinely wanted to make a difference, but too often they were spending hours searching for resources, creating keywork sessions from scratch, completing paperwork and trying to evidence progress in systems that were never really designed around the young person.
At the same time, I saw young people who needed more than another worksheet. They needed practical conversations. They needed opportunities to build confidence. They needed to understand money, relationships, housing, employment, health, safety and what it really means to live independently. Most importantly, they needed to be part of their own journey.
That is why I created Pocket Keyworker.
I believe every young person deserves the opportunity to enter adulthood feeling prepared, capable and confident — regardless of their background or the circumstances that brought them into support.
