Big Update: Pocket Keyworker Is Now for Every Young Person

We've expanded. Pocket Keyworker is now open to ALL young people — not just those in supported accommodation. Introducing the PK Hub, free access, and a new way to grow.

We've made a major change — and it's an important one.

Pocket Keyworker was originally designed to support looked-after children and care leavers.

But as we've grown, one thing became clear:

Every young person needs support with life skills, confidence, and real-life challenges.

So we've expanded.

Pocket Keyworker is now open to ALL young people.

What This Means

Young people can now:

  • Sign up independently — no referrals needed
  • Access support without barriers — just create an account
  • Build confidence at their own pace — with content designed for them
  • Learn real-life skills in a way that feels engaging and relevant

Whether they have a keyworker or not — support is now in their hands.

Introducing the PK Hub (Free Access)

We've also introduced the PK Hub — a free space designed for young people to explore and grow.

Inside the PK Hub:

  • Engaging short-form content that feels familiar
  • Life skills videos covering money, cooking, jobs, and more
  • Interactive challenges to build confidence
  • Quizzes and reflection tools for self-discovery
  • Real-life resources that actually help

It's designed to feel familiar like social media — but focused on growth and development.

The PK Hub is tailored by age group:

  • Ages 13-15: "Level Up" content covering confidence, emotions, friendships, school, and staying safe online
  • Ages 16-18: "Life Skills" covering budgeting, cooking, daily routines, job hunting, and preparing for independence

Why This Matters

Support shouldn't be limited.

Not every young person has access to:

  • A keyworker to guide them
  • Structured support from services
  • Guidance at the right time when they need it most

This update changes that.

Now, support is accessible anytime, anywhere.

Whether a young person is in care, living independently, or simply looking for help navigating life — Pocket Keyworker is here for them.

Still Supporting Professionals

We continue to support:

  • Supported accommodation providers with Ofsted-ready tools
  • Local authorities with oversight and compliance features
  • Youth services with engagement and progress tracking

With tools for:

  • Engagement tracking across your service
  • Progress monitoring for every young person
  • Structured keywork with built-in recording

Now with the added benefit of a platform young people already want to use.

The professional tier remains fully intact — this expansion adds a free layer alongside it, without changing anything for existing services.

What's Next

This is just the beginning. We're continuing to build features that make a real difference:

  • More interactive content across all age groups
  • Gamification and badges to keep young people engaged
  • Expanded video library with curated, relevant content
  • AI-powered guidance tailored to each young person's needs

We believe every young person deserves access to support that meets them where they are.

Pocket Keyworker is that support.
